If it is leaded race gas, the lead will foul your 02 sensors. Not really good for fuel injected motors. I do run it in my 1992 evo and my 76 shovel occasionally.

Yes very good point. MS109 is safe.

Maybe im weird but I would assume race fuel is for a race bike. A stock 88 is just that, a stock bike. If I put race fuel in a minivan is it going to be a race minivan?

There is a gas station nearby that sells it out of the pump for $9.99/gal. I use to run it in my '05 but I had built the motor including H/C pistons. Couldn't really notice any difference on the butt dyno but it would eliminate detonation. I will use it, on occasion, in my '14 but mainly to get rid of all the black from my mufflers.

You should run race fuel! ................ After you have done a serious build on your engine that is! My buddy has a stage IV 107 and even his bike does not require better than 91 octane.

We only got 90 octane available here. I've been running 2-3 ratio 100 octane av gas and 90 octane pump gas so I don't ping for 14 yrs in my Dyna.

I agree with you that its a waste of money but hey, had to come up with a new topic for discussion other than the same old stuff. Lol..

I do love the smell though. Reminds me of the dragstrip.
