Thanks for the advice all. I am definitely sold on the TTI for now and will take it from there regarding performance. Looking forward to improved sound too. I thought that the ShortShots sounded a bit better than the Radius without the baffle. Now if only they were chrome instead of black... haha.
Hey brother they do make the shortshots in chrome!
Good point. I think I will put the TTIs in to make sure the pipes are good and then see if anyone wants to trade for black powedercoated pipes in the classifieds. Failing that, I probably will buy something else. I just think that chrome looks better on cobalt blue unless I am going to black out almost everything else.
The biggest thing is to decide do you want looks or performance? A 2-1 will give you better #s but in my opinion they arent for everyone. I havent found a 2-1 that I like. According to v&h the big radius is supposed to give better #s than the shortshots. I took off my straight shots and replaced them with rinehart crossbacks. I did notice a fairly big difference in power all the way through the rpm range. Good luck whichever you decide.
Woah! Those Thunder Torque inserts are really inexpensive. Hard to believe the claims of that much power gain for $20. Am I missing something or did you just give me a great interim solution while I figure it out? Thanks!
You could use the Thunder Torques, they are not a interim solution, you can use them as long as you would like. They Increase low and mid range torque and have adjustable sound and volume. This way you can get the sound that you like best.

Kelsey: Can you tell me which one I should get for a 2015 Wide Glide with stock pipes? I'm thinking it's the 158 but I'm not 100% sure. Thanks!

Hi, I'm not Kelsey , but I'm betting you'll have better results with the W258's in the stock pipes. There was a great thread in the Sportster Forum and some posters discovered the larger TTI's in their stock pipes gave better results, I found the W158's in my Big Shots work very well, they nearly fill the pipe giving great low end and a sweet tone.
