Dyna change over
A friend of my is looking at Dyna's as a second bike. Wondering if there is any problem years with the Dyna's like there was with the touring models from the 2007 2008 years, when they changed over to the bigger motors and six speed. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If he is looking for a second bike, assuming around town hopper, I would suggest 1998 and older Evo motor Dyna. Pretty much bullet proof and they can be had cheap in great condition. $6k cheap for a Wide Glide with low miles which you could ride anywhere.
No problems,
To my knowledge the "problems" with the Twin Cam where resolved in 07 going forward,, it was the 06 an older that had oil pump issues and that only cropped up with engines 50k+.
I was told by more then one man while searching for my bike to look for 07 or better.
