I know this is subjective - everyone is going to have a different idea of what sounds good. So post up with what you think are the best sounding slipons. De-catting head pipe.

Save your money for the full kit..... That's smug advice, I'll admit because I'm spending your money..... But in the long run, you'll kick yourself in the @ss
Contrary to what a lot of people think, there are a lot of good sounding and performing slip on mufflers. I have had good luck with rush and vance & hines.
I had the se slip ons on my super glide, I really liked the way they sounded. Deep sound.
There are a lot of others that also sound good. Reinhearts, d&d etc....
Best sounding? My personal opinion...Rush slash downs. They sound phenomenal, and their customer service is second to none. I have no clue what type of performance improvements come along with them though.

I disagree. I put Cycle Shack slip on's on my bike several years back until I could save up for a "better" full exhaust system. Time came and I had plenty of money for new exhaust but I kept the Cycle Shack's because the sound is so good and they perform much better than the Screamin' Eagle's they replaced. My money for "better" exhaust went to new upgraded suspension front and rear.
My vote is for Cycle Shack's. In the $150 range on Amazon.
I just put a set of V & H Straight Shots slip-ons on my 2014 Street Bob and they sound good. And by good I mean loud...as in, when I first fired her up and cracked the bike, the nice, old, deaf guy that lives across the street gave me the thumbs up. No joke.
