thanx, I hated looking at that 160, just looked way too small for the bike and fender. my old tire wasn't completely worn (8700 miles) but I told my wife that it was
I just installed a 190 Avon Cobra on my 13 Street Bob, and a 110 on the front. My bike has the quick detach hardware already which includes the brackets from a wide tire kit, so the kit wasn't needed. The tiires fit and look great! The handling is MUCH better, although the ride did seem to be a little harder.
I was checking out this option, an Avon 190 Rear and 110 Front. It looks like the rear comes in radial only and the front in bias only, at least for the Cobra. Is this okay to mix like that?

Yes it is ok to mix like that. A bias ply should always be on the front anyway with a spoke wheel. Im wondering if the 190 would have clearance issues with burly slammers? Anyone have experience with a wider tire on a lowered bike?

Someone here before had a 200 with Slammers. Can't remember who it was though.
In the process of lacing a FLHTCU 5" profile rim on to a stock rear FXDC hub... will sport a 180/65/16 (stock on E-glide Ultra ). not exactly sure yet, what that is going to do with my belt clearance....etc....
Doing this as part of a fat front end change (mid to wideglide/fatbob), and I"m putting the Ultra profile rims on Dyna hubs... both front / rear will be 16".
Obviously, the rear wheel change-out is going to be near the end of the project, as it may take some extra work in the fender/pulley/belt area.
