Are you doing or gonna do the build thread on this, I would like to see the details about what your using and how you're applying it.
Yes I'm going to start a build thread. I'll be as descriptiveas possible for anyone who may be interested. I got most my info off the site prior to being a member, but as far as I know I'm the 1st guy running this particular setup. A member by the name of FAST HARLEY did something similar using vrod lower fork legs and mentioned the 14/15 FL fork legs being 49mm, so I basically crossed my fingers and soo far it's all worked. Working on a custom inner and bag fillers . Keep an eye out for the thread I start- mike

I'm going to assume that you have the Arlen Ness Direct Bolt-On Fairing P/N 06-033. If you are wanting a different shield I'm pretty sure you are out of luck and may have to purchase a new fairing. The only ones with something like a 15" shield that I know of are Rifle Roadster, Southeast Customs Club Style Fairing, or an FXDXT, such as JD Customs or Conely's. Either way you are looking at $300 - $600ish.
*edit I'd be interested in the modified shield if one exists on Dyna Facebook.

Reason: updated info
After shopping for over a year, I went to bike fests up and down the east coast before broke down and got my fairing from tsukayu in china, ordered painted gloss black with the philips stereo and 6x9 speakers. The fairing is made from fiberglass, I can not find anything wrong with it. Looks like good quality. I knew I would need to spit the fairing and install Infinity speakers to get good sound. Fairing came with quick disconnect clamps I installed on the tubes. Took about 20 minutes to install and adjust. The battery wiring kit and yellow always hot wire took about an hour to install under the tank. The wiring kit/harness has a screw together connector that makes removing/installing the fairing pretty simple if necessary. I have several standard HD 3 screw windshield that I have tried. and I have a saddlemen 3 pocket windshield pouch. The Fairing has been on my bike for about a 1-1/2 years I have traveled from Maine to Florida and a little inland. So far No complaints may need to replace the infinities sooner or later. I like to crank them up while on the interstate.
This is the fairing I want. Did you order from the company direct or use an American distributor?
