Great bars, well put together. I appliance epoxied them because they come flat and I wanted gloss, but absolutely no complaints. I put a +4 clutch cable, though I could have made due with the stock (rode it with the stock last year).
Man that sucks. What happened? I'm waiting to do my bars when my seat from sick saddles gets here. See where it moves me.

Sitting at a light and my keys fell out of my pocket... without thinking I bent down to grab them.
Bike got ahead of me and just fell - on me.
Picture it - me, trapped under my bike at an intersection... just kinda sitting there in shock. Bike managed to fall and pin my right leg under it at the perfect angle where I could not lift it.
I probably could have scooted out but there were cars whizzing past my head in the other lane.
Thankfully the guy behind me helped me pick it up.
2 broken toes and a sprained knee, seriously damaged ego.
Now to add insult to injury I find out it bent the bars - not too bad, but enough to kick up my OCD

Sorry to hear that, but if you've ridden enough years, this chit is bound to creep up, upon you. On the pavement, been down only once, back in the early 70's, but the feeling of low siding never leaves my mind. Was pushing the Dyna hard thru the twisties today, but the possibility of low siding stayed with me thru each corner, keeping me from pushing as hard as I know I could.
Ride with purpose your next ride, and enjoy every minute of it. Don't let the "possibilities" get into your way... tp

I love to ride... I have laid down 3 times in my riding life - once badly enough to crack a helmet (I was 18 and "indestructible" - and riding like it)
Twice when I was cut off by an idiot that wasnt paying attention.
This time it was just me acting without thinking.
Ya know what they say: "its not IF but WHEN". (a thought that keeps me awake now that my wife rides too)
Those Street Fighters are B.A. I just don't like the idea of being stuck with the pullback you get. No adjustments.
I'm with you on this. At some point, I may get a more convetional handlebar due to having some adjustment capability. Having said that, with the Corbin seat I'm now running, fitment for the bars is pretty good.
I have the Harley mini-apes on mine.
Cant speak to the install because they were on it when I bought it.
I have been paying attention to this thread because apparently I bent my right bar when I dropped the bike a couple months ago.

I used to have a Yamaha Roadstar with T style drag bars. Dropped the bike and bars were bent a bit. Wrestled that sucker back to being pretty much in the pre drop position.

I was told that I could try.
A friend of mine suggested strapping to something solid by the front forks and pulling it back out...
I just figured that with my luck I would end up with bent bars and bent forks.
Evo era Fat Boy/Road King bars. Reused the stock Street Bob control cables. Much more fun to ride with that the original 10" mini apes. They just didn't look right on this bike.
