Heel toe shifter 14 switchback
#12
Both from the Drag book, Shift Linkage rod was part number 1601-0240, page 796 (14.5" long) @ $35 and the lever is part number 1601-0340 page 798 (08-15 Softail) @ $20. I have the extra shift lever and shift peg for the outside so I don't have part numbers there. If you have forwards on your bike this should mount right up or if you have footboards it will mount right up. You just need to flaten the bendsout so the rod will clear the primary with about a 1/4" of space.

Switchback Heel-Toe Shifter
I like my Switchback, but I had foot surgery on my shifter toe and have been desperate to find a shifter. I found a company that makes one, but they are having a hard time getting it into production. Maybe if everyone will contact them they will get it ready sooner. Here is the link: http://www.eglidegoodies.com/id173.html

there is no need to have them make it if you use the method in this thread,
$55 for parts and a vise and you can install a heal toe on your switchback

Pretty pricey at about $279!!!
Yet another alternative:
This shifter is used with Dyna forward controls and on Switchbacks. This what I'm using now. It uses the stock Dyna forward/Switchback shift lever that has been modified with a Softail shifter spline. Post # 30 has the details.

I can't flex my foot enough to upshift in the regular manner so this is ideal for me - down with toe to downshift, down with heel to upshift.
Pic is from my Low Rider with the shifter.
If you decide to go this route LMK. I have a stock Dyna Forward/Switchback shift lever I'll let go for cheap. The bike can be still be on the road while the splines are being switched.

Heel Toe Shifter MOD on 2015 FLD
I have not found any part from Harley that would allow you to add a heel shifter to the FLD without some kind of modification. After searching and reading I have finally completed my Heel Shifter MOD on my 2015 FLD. I have attached all the items you need to purchase that i managed to find on eBay. The only part you are not required to purchase is the FLD shifter lever but I did so I can always go back to the stock config in the future. The reason you need the extended shifter instead of 2 standard size ones is because of the shaft not being centered with the floorboard. I tried 2 standard size ones and my size 12 foot had a big problem fitting. take a look at the pics and I'll be happy to help. I hope this gives you a new project!!

TIgerMike87 - Did you require a new linkage rod? I don't know why I'd need one but your's doesn't look like it's stock in the pic. Also, it appears that the stock toe lever would still work with the extended heel lever, but the two wouldn't match in appearance. Is that why you replaced both? Great post.
