Supermeg in the house!
I am starting with 20 disks and closed end cap. I do have an open end cap being delivered so I can try it if I want.
Once that was done get everything aligned and start snugging bolts and clamps starting with the header flanges working backwards with the exception of the P-clamp which gets tightened last. Then the heat shields, which were frankly the hardest part (getting the stupid clamps through the slots welded to the shields).
Get the shields lined up and inserted into the collector shield (not a bad fit but there is a small gap between rear cylinder shield and collector). Snug the clamps down, shot some pics and a video! FWIW, DB reading at the ear was 85 and up to 90 at the pipe but of course the muffler is behind the rider which is kind of nice. Those measurements are without bags. The sound is pretty decent, still has some kick.
For now I'm using a map for a V&H Pro-Pipe but will work with support on a better one, do an auto-tune and then get back with Chad at Wide Open Cycles for a tune. Can't wait to try the bike out though. Hopefully weather clears out within the next couple of days!
Thank you!
