Default Painting Fat Bob rotors ??
Was wondering if anyone has ever tried to paint the inner part of their front rotors of the fat bob? I think they would look nicer if they were painted gloss black, with chrome screws ? Has anyone tried this ? The price of 2 new rotors is crazy.

Uhm? Paint and Brake pads aren't necessarily meant to mix well, kind of a no brainer.
If it did work there would be rotor paint for sale in all kinds of colors

I painted the center part of my street bob rotors with Harley wrinkle black spray paint. It has held up just fine and looks plenty good enough to hold me over until I can swing a set of Lyndall rotors

Powder coat them. About 30-40 each. Coater will mask off the pad contact area. Powder will hold up way better than paint.

John,
uhm, I was talking about the part that doesn't contact the pads obviously. That's why I said "inner part". I will paint or powder coat them.

I powder coated mine.. came out good and holds up fine. I would definitely powder though over paint.
