The low rider comes with mids that are just a bit more forward than on my street bob. Im looking for something similar for my 2014 street bob. I kinda want forwards but dont feel like doing all the work to be honest. And iv put 10k miles on my mids with no problem so the low riders controls position seems about perfect when i sit on my buddys bike. My question is this. Do i have to go with factory harley **** or does someone make aftermarket? Im hestisant to get aftermarket and it shows up as regular mids. Any input or advice is always appreciated. Trying to do this on the cheap. Thanks guys.
I don't think the aftermarket has cought up yet but if they prove to be as popular as they are said to be I can't believe the aftermarket will be far behind.
There is not that much too them; two forward cast foot pegs, an extended shifter arm and a recast rear brake pedal arm.
Discounted HD shops have OEMs now for about $275. How long do you want to wait and how much do you want to save.
I just found a set of further forward mids off a Lowrider. It is pretty much new and saved about $80. I think you need to look for the 2014+ models. Or you can buy them from the dealer.
Plenty of buyers switching to forwards so just keep on the lookout.
