V&H Quiet Baffles - WTF?

I have the quiet baffles in the big shots and happy with them. The book says the quiet baffles are 2-3 decibels lower than reg baffles. I am happy with them they have a nice deep tone.

My V&H Staggered sounded tinny and raspy so I ordered the Quiet Baffles. Perfect, now it is still loud enough to drowned out the kid with the twin 12" woffers in the Jap scrap import booming out Gangsta K-rap or the other import with the 5" fart pipe with the 6 gazilon watt amp pounding out the latest Heavy Metal screaming rattling the windows loose. Love the pull along side and make them both roll up the windows because that means they can't avoid noticing me so they don't run me off the road! Instead of the original factory sound which sounded more like a sewing machine on steriods it now has a nice deep rumble just like a V-Twin should sound like.

I love my pipes and the QB was a nice addition. Easy out then in. No saftey wire for me, and I prefer the deeper tone. No probs or clanky noises here...

What you think and call "cellophane and/or scotch tape" is actually a Mylar tape and will not just burn off when you first start up the bike.

I'm ordering my VH short shots today and from reading everything i could find on here the quiet baffles are the way to go...Yes? I like that deep rumble. Also going to order a tuner from Fuel Moto power commander V.
