Slims fab farm sissy bar installed
1. It is a good solid sissy bar at a good price. You pay $139 you get a 139 sissy bar so don't expect to open the box and it is ready to go.
2. You will have to repainted it. Mine had a poorly done paint job that was chipped and scratched all over.
3. The slots for mounting are not as big as the spacers holding your fender on so you will have to Drexel or drill bigger holes.
4. The sissy bar is way narrower at the base plates than your fender. I simply laid it on a blanket, held one base plate down with my foot and pulled up on the other to spread it wider to fit my fender width. Not hard and worked well.
5. In order for the bolts to clear the tire from the rear of the fender you will need to lift the bike using an atv jack in the center. This takes weight off of the rea, allowing the rear wheel to drop a little and gives clearance for the tire.
6. There isn't much room to get your hands between the tire and fender to rerun your wires but it can be done with patience.
7. You will have to disconnect your turn signal and license plate wires under the seat and pull the wires out. The wires run through a hole in the Orem short sissy bar so short of cutting the wires you have to pull them through.
8. The entire rear fender WILL come right out in your hands once you pull all 4 bolts/ screws so have something to set it on.
9. allow yourself a couple of hours don't rush, have the tools you need, take a break when you begin to get frustrated. I managed to do it withou scratching anything by doing this.

I suspect the mount holes would have been fine before they coated it. I did need to file mine a little as well.
Tip: put painter tape around your fender so you don't scratch it while spreading and installing the bar.
