Does anybody know of a great solo touring seat for a 2010 or newer wideglide? The only touring seats I've seen are 2-up or have the pass pad. I'm looking for a true solo! Any ideas? Thanks! I love my bike but after 4hrs my bare bones seat kills me! And the stock one is also less than desirable after 8hrs
When I purchased my 06 SB new I also purchased the HD Deep Pocket two up seat which is very comfortable, a couple years ago I purchased the Mustang seat the others are talking about and I love that even more, especially the back rest.
I just came back from a 2100 mile round trip ride from Delaware to Deals Gap/Maggie Valley, NC sitting on a Mustang Wide Solo seat with backrest. Great seat, very comfy.
Mustang vintage wide solo with removable, adjustable drivers backrest on my 2010 Wide Glide. I bought it for spending 8 days on my bike at the end of the month. Very comfortable.
I have a custom made www.sicksaddles.com seat with gel insert, took about 300miles to really break it in. But it sits you down into the bike and not on top of it. Very reasonable and does custom stuff on it as well.
