Please help possible damage?

Jack the bike back up and spin the front tire. Does it make noise or have rough or smooth spots while spinning, meaning spin faster or slower in some areas. I bet it is your front wheel bearing i had mine go out at about 7,000 miles, i heard a loud pop which was probably the bearing momentarily locking up and then a vibration/wobble from the front end. To verify that you are not having a brake issue take off the front caliper and spin the wheel again. Regardless if you have not done them yet, new bearings can't hurt yeah, like i said i only got 7k out of my first set.
