A couple of quick questions. I have read that my '97 FXDS Convertible is classified as a low rider, and/or a Sport model. Which is it? Or both?
It came with progressive shocks on the rear. 12" eye to eye mounted on the bike. Is this standard length, shorter, longer? Cant make out the series just the Progressive name.
It is a basic dyna.
Basically it was a superglide with removable windshield and bags.
Not sure of stock suspension. I think 12.5 was the standard for a long time, but I'd be guessing as to what it was oe on your bike. Stock low riders come with 12".
It looks lower in the back to me. Stock in the front. Thinking of getting the front down too. If you know, can the fork tubes be repositioned in the trees or not.
Then again I might go with a set of low rider trees for the longer lower front end look.
Thanks for the info.
