Had the dealer do a stage 1 from the get go with the s/e pipes on the 07 super glide and I was totaly disapointed in the sound. Anyone else out there have thoughts on putting these pipes on their new ride. Had a dude pull up along side me at the light and said "rev it up lets hear what she sounds like I gave him a line of $hit like "can't do it it's not broke in yet" Thanks

I was ready to buy them at the dealer and asked if he had a bike with them already installed so I could hear them beforehand. He did and that was enough for me. I've heard stock mufflers with the centers knocked out that sounded better. For anybody considering these, save your $309 and buy somthing else (my 2 cents).
The SE slip-ons definately suck! My brother just wasted money on them for his new 07 RKC. He took the beating and re-sold them for $150. He went with the V&H duals.
I have V&H big shots staggered being delivered to me on Friday. I was going to put on the Rush slip-ons, but it was taking too long to get them from the stealer so ordered the V&H off eBay.
SE II slip-ons are essentially stock, no improvement sound or scavenging
There's a difference between the screamin eagle and the screamin eagle II's which the moco no longer sells. The screamin eagles are barely louder than stock and legal in 49 states. The screamin eagle II's are much louder than stock and are "for off road use" only."
I got lucky and the service guy warned me they weren;t loud and turned me onto V&H. I had just put on a set on my 06 sporster and they sounded great, I assumed less than 8 monhts later they still sounded great... not... i was greatful they warned me. I would have been p*ssed...
