I have a 1999 Dyna Wide Glide. Runs perfect. Never had the slightest problem. Yesterday, I noticed the speedometer and odometer shut off, while riding, and the engine light came on. Stopped at a light, everything started workng again, then back off at speed. Bike runs fine, never missed a beat. Have read the threads concerning codes, but can't find anything concerning the D02SEE (last "E" looks like an upside down "F"). Also has a D08SEE. Cleared the codes, all good. My question is: what does the code mean and or pertain too? I know what the D02 and D08 part means, but not the "SEE." Thanks a bunch for any help!
PS- checked all wires and fuse. No problems there that can be seen.
I realize no one has commented on this thread, but just to update, was dealership, had half the store and technicians looking at bike, took all electrical apart, etc, etc, etc....they were really great. Anyway, problem still exists...speedometer and odometer cutting out after starting. Bike runs fine, no problems. Just took center console loose and checked....all seems well, but i did the redneck wiggle to the wires and connections in hopes it was just something loose from vibration. Will update as I learn more. (so far I have been told it "could be" a voltage regulator, or the speedometer is just old...its original from 1999, never changed. Also, the code reads D08set, though it looks like do8see. It also says "cal09")
D08SEE indicates a high voltage condition or possibly a bad ground or regulator on it's way out
Check your grounds as a starter then reset the codes. Usually you'll find that your stator is getting ready to take a dump. 2000 and early HD's were famous for frying stators.
I know it has been a while since the original poster has been on here, but I was hoping for an update. My Dyna is having the same issue. I just replaced the stator like 300 miles ago. I have replaced the Speed sensor per the advice of the Harley dealership, and it didn't fix anything. My initial thought was maybe the new stator was frying the old voltage regulator, or the new stator was bad. Just a really frustrating situation when you can't just jump in and turn a wrench to get it done. Thanks!
When checking for trouble codes I found d015e with an upside down f on the end. Does anyone know what this means. I have scoured the internet and cannot find anything about it.

Hello, I was wanting to know if you found out what the problem was? I am having the same problem anything over 45mph the check engine light comes on and speedometer drops to zero, if I go 55 or 60 the speedometer cut's off completely unless I turn a turn single on them it comes back on or drop below 45 mph. I check the codes and it is like yours (d085EE) the 8 could be a B and the last E looks like an upside down F. My bike runs fine but this is driving me crazy. Stopped by the HD dealer and the service tech said it pick up a code and would clear after cutting in on and off 30-40 times. Any help would be greatly appreciated
.
I had the same issues and same code on my '00 WG, turned out to be the voltage regulator. Unfortunately I was on the road at the time and rode the bike home with speedo inop and CEL on, and wound up frying the battery as well. It was getting a little long in the tooth anyway... But all good now with new VR and battery, put about 2K miles on the bike since, no problems.
OK, this may not be your problem but my 03 Super Glide has the same issue and after I changed the stator and voltage regulator, the problem cleared. I would say your issue is the stator, and you might as well change the voltage regulator at the same time. My speed o meter would also cut out at 45 mph after dropping in and out and I hade the same code you mentioned.

I had this issue happen to me a few years ago. I replaced the voltage regulator, and all was well.
