If you find some slip ons from earlier years they will work with your stock head pipes. I have an extra set that I manipulated the baffles in, they're off an 04 and the only major difference from my 06 is the length. They are a few inches shorter but worked just fine with the 06 hardware.
Welcome home, posting where you should have never left....lol!!!

Ding ding ^this^.
I just did this on my 2013 wide glide. I have 2004 (i dont remember ) screaming eagle 2s on 2006+ street bob headers. I hated the tommy gun crap.
Good to see you back on the Dyna, Rick. Mine is still apart. I'm hoping to be riding it this year. As for the original poster- I put new takeoffs from the SE Dyna and was happy with the sound on my stock engine '07 Street Bob. When I get it back on the road it'll be106in with different cams and SE heads. Mufflers may change then.
2008 SE mufflers similar or exactly like posted above by U-234 have cats in the mufflers themselves. (the ones I got anyway) I dismantled mine-cut the cats clean off of the interior guts, punched out the membranes and reinstalled. riveted the end caps back on so the look stock. Got them cheap on eBay. Nice low rumble and plenty loud when you get on it.
