Default buying 2008 Super Glide

I am looking at a 2008 Super Glide that is basically new with 2K miles and the 1K service done. This is my first bike and is going to bust my budget, but it looked like a great deal so I am interested. Looking for feedback on how good the $6700 price is for the bike. Owner is moving and trying to sell fast.

If I wanted to sell would I have any problems selling for $7500 to make back the cost and registration?

I am very interested in the bike as a first bike, just trying to make sure it is a sound investment in case it doesn't work out. If I could sell it for 9K I probably wouldn't, but I would like to know I could.

I have no idea about the price for any used bike. My recommendation would be to go on cycletrader and look at comparable bikes. That's where I would start.

it's a steal and a good bike year, jump on it if your smart, the dummy could probably get more selling it to a dealer.

It's a decent price. I paid $7000 for the same bike with 3k miles in practically showroom cond. Got $6800 trade in value at the dealer on my FXDL.

6700 is a great price for that bike with only 2K.
Trying to flip it for 7500 is going to be dicey because like you, most folks are looking for a bargain.
Banks and dealers use an NADA book value that's listed as "wholesale" to determine loan and trade value that's usually lower then what we see with an on-line search.
Trust me, you'll have to look/wait for months to find that bike or similar for that price.
My 09 was listed at 7500, the guy talked himself down to 6800 and settled at 6500, but it was "New baby-Must Sell"

Great bike at a great price. You should be able to cover no problem. Banks/Credit Unions use NADA average retail for loans, not wholesale/loan value.

You should call the banks and tell them that.
