How many miles were put on? 5-10 seems pretty standard for that kinda issue

I was pretty much just getting at that I didn't appreciate him just hopping on my bike and haulin *** down the road, without telling me anything. But of course I would rather it break down on him. Been stranded one to many times.

If a shops mechanic jumps on your bike to take it for a test ride on the work that was performed you just need to chill out. He's probably got way more miles on a seat than you do.

I think a test ride is standard shop practice. It makes me feel better knowing the tech felt the bike was safe to ride. I would feel uneasy if the tech did not want to test it.

I work full time as an automotive tech and even for an oil change I'll drive it around the block; make sure there's no squeeks or clunks that i may have missed during the inspection.
When you sign that little sheet dropping your bike off; it probably says on there that you consent to them performing an inspection and testing the repairs

I'll go ahead and finish this off here. My bike was fixed and I'm back on the road. If yall had experience with the Harley shop here you wouldn't want them touching your bike either.
