Default Odd handlebar question

Recieved my apes the other day and just happened to be measuring some things and found that the hand grip and control locations are different lengths. I would assume they are suppose to be the same length otherwise I think this is going to really affect my install. As you can see from the pics. One is about 7 1/4 and the other is roughly 7 5/8. The bars were purchased off eBay claiming to be Todd's cycle and look very much like the Todd's cycle from the Dennis kirk website. Did I get ripped off or do I just not know Harley handlebars?

are both sides 10.5" from the end to downturn? if so then it may be brake or clutch bracket or throttle are slightly bulkier than the other side.

I believe my 10" Todd's strip bars were the same way. I think this has something to do with the throttle by wire notch. Either way, I have not noticed any issues, and I've put on a couple thousand miles since the install.

Okay that's good. I suppose if anything my hand grip will just hang off 3/8 off an inch

The difference is because the right side grip area is notch for the throttle by wire sensor (that your bike doesn't have). Just install them they will be fine, the throttle end grip will just hang off the end of the tube slightly.
