Looking for a set-up for my new Fat Bob that has the heal rest.
Looked at all the Kury products, and hard to tell what would be functional but still look good without actually trying them first.
HD has the parts to set it up, but can add up in price to get it going.
What is everyone's thoughts on what they use (pics help).
I bought a set of the Kuryakins off a guy on Craigslist. I did not get them mounted on my bike yet but from the looks and feel of them they seem like a good quality item
I like the Edge Cut line of products from HD for the bike.
Would get expensive to use get what I want and the bike would stay black.
But the heal extender they sell only comes in chrome, so would throw off the black styling.
Would have to find another black heal rest bracket to go with the Edge Cut set-up.
I have the Kury heel rest set-up on mine, they came with the bike when I bought it. I like them, about the only thing Kury makes that is useful without being too gaudy. A very mini footboard. Good looking.
I got my wife the Kury Switch Blades I believe. They are a bit wider like a mini floor board, then you can flip out the heel rest. She digs them cause they go away if you are in the twisties.
Bought iso pegs with stirrups off amazon
adjustable, really like them used for 2 years on
2012 fxdc, floorboard put my heels to high.
Really it comes down personal taste, riding style.
