Default 2006 FXDCI Super Glide Custom shocks suggestions.
Looking to upgrade the shocks on my '06 Super Glide. Any recommendations ? I'm just a casual middle aged rider looking to save my kidneys and spine. First Harley after years of riding sport bikes and standards. Find the stock shocks on the Dyna kinda suck.

Very happy with my Hagon Nitros and straight rate Progressive fork springs with the Gold Valve Emulators on my 2011 fxdc.

Im running the progressive 970 series. There great in the corners and glide right over R/R tracks, pot holes etc...

stock length or not?

For what you do, go with progressive 444's. They come in 12", 12.5", 13" ...
I went with 13" and am very happy with them. The bike (14 FXDB) feels completely different now.

Default progressive 444
12" 444s only have 1.9" of travel. Mine do not give the ride I hoped for. I think most of it has to do with travel. Do a lot of research before you purchase.

I went with progressive 444's, 12.5" (1/2 longer than stock), am very happy with them.

I also have Progressive 444 I am very happy with them great upgrade to stock.
