The oil cooler will help (now that you had both in your hands, you can see the difference between the Tawain? made HD cooler and the Jagg), but you are going to need to do a few more things than just the oil cooler to get the temps down to a reasonable level.
That cooler looks almost identical to the HD one I installed on my '01 SG...I am working on getting a decent fan setup for mine...I am not too confident with the plastic composite ones that I see on the interweb...

i think the 01 is the jagg. jagg will sell you the fan to slide under your cooler

yes, huge difference. even the adapter on the HD looked bad, terrible machining... looked like a leak waiting to happen.
i sold that hd kit one on ebay for more than i paid for it. best offer option is great.
