The latest HD tank badge seems rather "feminine" in font.
Anyone swapped it out for something less "chick bike"?
Thinking about getting a new SB, but I'd have to do something about the badge. What were they thinking?
I have a '14 SB, the tank badges are pretty nice actually but I'm taking them off this spring. I like the look of a nice clean tank personally. If you do a search there are some cool ones you can get to replace the stock one.
The HD (crappy) reproduction 1947-50 Panhead emblems. Strange that they made the originals and yet can't get their own repros right. Still, better them than the original 2011 SB ones which looked like a cheap belt buckle from an urban cowboy store.
I wouldn't say its feminine, but rather a cheesy attempt at a retro-mod look.
I'm not crazy about the badge either, but it doesnt bug me enough to debadge it... yet. If I find a better looking badge I will, but I havent yet. Maybe something that is similar to what comes on a street glide but I'm afraid that might be a bit too large, or have something painted in. And I think it just looks too plain with no badge.
