The avons I have tried putting on are definately for TBW. You have to muscle them on the throttle side, so much friction that it wont return on the snapback.
When I installed HD burst grips I can't get the left grip to seat in solid. It turns forward and back about 1/4 inch. The throttle side went on and has no issues.
I can understand one? But how do both have a slight weep?
I noticed some some streaks on my wheels, then saw a small pooling of fluid (which I would have to assume is brake fluid) at the bottom of the calipers.
I am in the midst of lucky Dave 13 inch bar install on the 16 fxdls and I removed the gas tank during the process. Accidently ripe out the molex plug under the fuel tank. There are 3 wires coming from the fuel tank black orange yellow. And 3 wires on the bike blue white and grey/green. I need to figure out which order to put the tank wires back into the molex plug. Anyone have a clue? All the dealers in my area don't have the manual.
I am about to install the same bars. What size Cables did you have to buy? I tried PMing you but can not figure out how to send one on this board, haha. Thanks.

I just installed (still need called to arrive) Hardcase 9.5" risers & Forbidden MX bars & need 6" over stock. From what I found on the clutch cable it's either Magnum Shielding or Drag Specialties. Brake lines there's several options, but I'm bypassing the ABS & going custom lines.
I have the HCP 9.5 and fat bars sitting in my garage waiting to go on. I'm second guessing the height though, and am considering either 7" riders or a bar with less rise. I have magnum shielding cables and lines on the way too.

Bear in mind I'm waiting on lines, cables, & calipers still (I got the HCP 14" rotors too).

Put stock grip on and it's smooth as butter.
I had no issues at all when I put on some ones I bought from the dealer. If anything else it moves better now. Didn't need any force to get them on.
