Default Cool Storage Tube!

I've been looking for a storage tube to mount on the top triple tree my Wide Glide. Been searching high and low for an alternative to leather. Here's what I'm getting. L.A. choppers sells then through Drag Specialties. These pics were taken before the piect went to the chromer. I plan to mount it lower on the drag bars just above the top tree. More pics when the finished product arrives.

About as much, maybe a little more than the typical leather pouch that would go in that spot. I just prefer a more modern look.

Does it come in any other finishes and is it water-tight?

Water tight to normal rain and elements. I wouldn't try diving with it. It comes smooth or fluted, and I believe in chrome or brushed aluminum.

That looks great. (Almost looks like a little NoS tank on that chopper.)

I'm in the market for a small bag myself and I think I'd prefer something like this over a fork bag.

Which diameter did you order if I may ask?

That's going to lookreal nice when completed.

I've been pondering mounting a couple of Softail toolboxes on mine. Would mount to the QD sideplates. There is enough clearance between the strut and the QD plates to drill and mount them there I believe. Need to get one in-hand so I can mock it up and see if it fits my eye.

My bars are Wild-1 fatty 1-1/4". The mount is different for this tube though. The standard mount is a ring type like what would be used on a crash bar to mount highway pegs.
