Finally started a few winter upgrades! This years list includes new wheels, bars, seat, intake, exhaust, pegs, fork brace, HD 1/4 fairing (needs to be painted), suspension upgrade front and rear (mostly rear). Also a bunch of powder coating and getting my front fender repaired as it cracked last summer. This is going to be a fairly slow going project as I'm kinda buying parts as I'm going. Got a few pics today, I'll update when I can.
Also does anybody know how to take the ground wire out of the stock turn signal? Like out of the actual part that holds the bulb, can't seem to get that apart and don't really want to break it.

I couldnt find a way to unhook that ground without damaging it either (Im pretty sure its soldered in place!) so I decided to unpin the connectors and pull the wires out the other way, worked way better for me

It's probably been covered 1000 times but can you take those connectors apart without breaking them? Looks like you can, I'm assuming you had to just buy new pins for the wires?
Don't forget you'll need to buy a tuner and have someone dyno tune it after adding exhaust and intake. We have the same bike and are doing the same upgrades. I went with a HPI V2 intake and SPF pipe. I'm doing it in pieces like you cus I just don't have 5k lying around to do it all at once. Probably better off cus I'm constantly changing my mind. Half the fun is researching the parts you think you want. I got a set of Ohlins coming from Howard on this site along with Racetech fork internals.
What you doing for wheels?

Oh I know it has to be tuned haha gonna get the local dealer on that in the spring. I went with a Vance and Hines VO2 naked intake and just bought that cover from bungking, gonna get a bassani RR2 now soon. Haven't made up my mind on the rear shocks yet, I really want 13.5" works trackers but they're gonna cost me $1K alone here in Canada. Anyways, I came across an insane deal on a set of super glide wheels, paid $500 for the set with tires and rotors still on them! Getting those powder coated gloss black they're getting the tires taken off and bearings out now actually should be ready by Monday or Tuesday.
Got a crazy deal on that fairing at my local dealer too pretty pleased so far.
