Throttle won't snap back....help!
Just replaced my bars and I cannot get the throttle to snap back? The cable is fine, snaps back perfect if I tug on it. Once I put the grip back on I cannot get it to work. Didn't have this problem when I changed out handlebars before? You guys think it could be the grip?....they are only a little over a year old - HD Get a Grip - grips. I did notice that it doesn't spin freely on the handlebars? Put it back on the old set and it's about the same amount of friction. Anyways, any tips are greatly appreciated. I went from 14" Apes to 8" Tbars, if it makes a difference. Stock cables.
Thanks
I have replaced handlebars and grips a few times.
Not usually a big deal.
I put on a Mikuni carb and replaced both cables lubed them replaced grip. I have made tons of adjustments.
Tried everything short of going to stealership.
Everything is new. I am really aggravated with this.
Simple and cant seem to get it right no matter what I have tried. No burs on handlebar switch housing is brand new and a I used lube on bar prior to install.
Any advice would be appreciated maybe its as simple as me overlooking something but as many times and hours Ive put on it. I cant see Ive done anything wrong.
