Default Security system question

I have a 2006 Wide glide with what I believe is a factory security system. It locks out the electronics (I've been told) and alerts with flashing lights.
My question is, would it be a good idea to either put on a siren or hook it to the horn? What about Lojak? $1,150.00 seems like a lot of money.

Any advice?

The factory system should be enough of a deterant against most thieves...But if someone wants you bike a audible alarm is not going to stop them...Save your money, Get full coverage with a low deductable and don't worry about it...Just my $.02..Later

I have the smart siren 2 on my bike and the wifes as well. It gives me peace of mind. I also have the pager. IMO worth the money for peace of mine. I am well aware that if someone wants my bike they will get it regardless, at least that is my opinion.

Yes, it plugs right in. The install for the sporty was a little bit easier, but it was simple for the softail as well...

I bought the siren that goes along with the factory system. Was just plug and play. There's better systems out there, but my bike doesnt spend alot of time parked in places where people would mess with it.
