sorry didn't see all that arguing going on while i was researching part numbers, dont want in the middle of it, but clearly you have two different tabs so they must make them and numbers i posted was for older bikes
obviously you're looking for an argument. Sorry OP.
Never was...just giving the OP info that could be easily validated if questioned.
Again, gave a part# (using 2004 as an example) and where to validate it. If someone doesn't know how find it online, I'll be glad to help...even provide links if needed
tcarson84, this is the part # 52152-97 for the tab used for the Wide Glide fender. This was purchased to convert my Original Super Glide seat to fit my Wide Glide rear fender conversion, so there are indeed 2 different tabs available for the stock seats. I would take the seat or tab to your local HD dealer and see if they can get you a shorter version. Perhaps the original tab may be what you need.
LOL well you got me there. Yeah must be stock. I was typing harley lowrider 99 in instead of fxdl(i know its same thing just typed it different). So i guess that's where you found those. i was looking seems like nobody liked the seat but just wasn't searching for it right i guess
