Very much so. Extremely apt and accurate observation. I hate rust more than lima beans. (I really, really hate lima beans)

17-4 is about twice as strong and as corrosion resistant as 18-8 stainless steel

Yup. Almost all the fasteners I've touched (a lot) have been replaced with 17-4 PH. The balance were little non-structural buggers that I couldn't find in anything better than 18-8 or 316. The only exceptions so far are the axles and internal stuff.

So... I shouldn't refer to your beard as... rust colored...

Existential crisis inbound! I've always hated myself a little...catholic upbringing....but now I'm in a real pickle. I think there's only one solution...

Maybe bring back your old mohawk? Just pointing in the other direction...

It would have to be a flop. I don't have the energy to maintain a real 'hawk anymore. Might also be a problem with re-entering the job market soon... Actually been thinking about trimming the beard back to 1" for just that reason. Haven't decided.

I remember you upgraded the hardware on your Sputhe to ARP, do you happen to still have photos of that? The images are not loading in your thread. Thanks!

Sure do.

These include the OEM rear isolator and stainless link hardware...
