Holes are done. Nice and flush now. I'll get the outlines done tomorrow.

Lol, yeah. I think I need to attend ARP anonymous meetings. Essentially, the only stock fasteners left are inside the engine and transmission.

VT81 reminded me that I should probably update this...as little as is...

I had to abandon my leather sewing. I tried some test pieces and I can't make the tight corners on my machine. The needles keep breaking and the nose of the machine is too bulky. I found a shop called Mad Cow Leather a couple hours away that should be able to do what I want. I'll reach out to them once I have pan finished up and have the cash set aside. I'm hoping they will be use the leather I already bought or at least take it in trade for the work. A $200 half hide sitting around useless pains me.

I have the mounting tabs laid out and a simple welding jig figured out. The rivet holes are all done (what a pain in the ***!). The weather is finally looking up so it's about time to see how bad I can *** up some aluminum welds!

Oh, and my eyesight has finally gotten to a point I decided to get cheaters. Yay.

Oh the cheaters are going to drive you crazy. Sitting at the bench, all good, but when you are upside down half under the bike and you are either looking over them or they just plain fall off!?!?!?!? Cursing begins. I have no solution, just empathy. Keep up the good work on the bike.

Yeah, wearing cheaters has it's issues, but so does trying to get your head back far enough in a restricted area to be able to read/see things without them.

...Nice beard. If you were a girl you might be called "Fire Crotch" on occasion. ...Hell, maybe you are. (not by me...let's get that straight )

For now I can still do most garage work without glasses. Reading and fine work (soldering and such) was just getting too sketchy. Headaches, slow focusing when going from near to far, etc. I'm sure y'all are familiar. I'm the only one in my family that didn't have glasses as a kid. I consider myself lucky to have made it this long without. Somehow I still have hair too...and the only one with Red. I'm a genetic freak for some reason. [Shrug]
