3rd time's a charm. After I wrapped the second one around the mandrel...again...I decided to change the order I did things. Instead of polishing last, I cut the outside profile and centerpunched for the holes, then polished, taped over the shiny bits, drilled, cut inside profile, cleaned up the cut edges, and bang. Done. Felt personal there for a hot minute. LOL.
Anyway...
The polished edge just peeks out the side, as intended.
