Agreed. Full chub.

It's the little details that most people would never notice that separate a build like this.

Hopefully this weekend I can get the bike in the air.

I picked up a 2'x4'x3/8" steel plate for a welding/fab table today and need to get that and a general de-clutter of the garage finished up first.

I didn't get a picture of it (I can if y'all want) but I DID have to turn down the flange OD on the two 3/8-16 bolts. .550" works perfect. just FYI.

Oh, you also need a relatively thin wall socket to get into the counterbore. I think the c'bore dia was like .565".

I also yet haven't found a source for a little stainless turnbuckle/jack screw yet. I probably should have used male rod ends because short female turnbuckles are easier to find. Oh well. I can live with it.

No worries. The warden already took my bed sheets away.

I got that hardware last night and noticed I only got one LH 3/8-24 nut. That was wrong, I thought. So, I checked my invoice and the website and sure enough it's correct.

I should have read the fine print better. I thought I bought a pack of 10.

OUCH

Made some test brackets for the headlight. Just .035 mild steel. If I like them, I'll remake them in stainless.
