keep it simple with a Dyna caliper but put an Arlen Ness big rotor kit in it, as well as CL Brakes sintered pads

Dual Ness rotors seems kinda overkill and I'm not sure it would all fit inside a 16" rim.

I need to fogure out the brakes now. Can somebody give me the skinny on which calipers interchange with the late model Dyna fork lowers? (Maybe I should start a new thread?)
I threw my stock 02 caliper on a 2013 Streetglide wheel + rotor (With the 60-84 FLH trees and forks)...I don't see why it wouldn't work in reverse, but you're dealing with the 49mm front end and I had the 39mm.

I'd say depending on the variation of price of the touring vs what you know fits it might be worth the gamble...like the others have said you might have to shim it or whatnot. Worst case scenario they don't work and you resell the calipers.

I asked in the Fat Bob thread and it seems the touring brembos bolt up on the 49mm lowers, but the mounting angle is wrong. The swept area is also too far out on the rotor.

Too much BS. I'll just hold out for the right set.

Any 2000-later Caliper originally used/designed for a 11.5" Rotor will work on a 06-later Dyna while using an accompanying 11.8" (300mm) Rotor.

So...

You can use the 2000-07 Touring Cals along with 11.8" (300mm) rotors

...Those are plentiful and can be "Cheap"

Yes, the seller put that combo together. I don't yet know the length of the tubes but I can change that easy enough if the ride height is wrong.

The only pics I have at the moment are.from the seller...

Rear FLSTF w/ shims will fit (what I have on now)

Think I have an extra lying around if you want it..., shims aren't hard to make

That ebay seller seems to be pretty successful...he's got the selling "dialed"

Looks like earlier 49mm FXDWG trees (probably 06-07) and of course FXDF Fat Bob sliders (and probably the FBob's tubes)

Also, maybe as a reminder...

Looking for a hub, too. I'll lace up my own custom wheel. I'm going wide. At least 150. Need to get further along before I commit.
Because that FXDF LEFT slider has it's caliper mounts more inward (horizontally), unless you find a FXDF Hub/wheel, you'll need to modify accordingly to use a plentiful and cheap "Touring" Dual Disc Hub/Wheel.

Possible solutions would be to mill left caliper (such as Nemos did) or mill back (face off) the Touring Hub's Left rotor mounting surface

...May be something to think about

Oh also...did you ask HrdNox if his old cals (since he has upgraded) are available?
