After reading your thread i'm glad to see your still with us, but hate that you have to go thru all the B/S that you've had to. I hope you get your Glide fixed up the way you want, and look forward to the pics.
Took a bit of a leap of faith tonight... Ordered the Carlini Lowdown bars. Sight unseen other than some pics on a handfull of Softies.
I inquired with Carlini if they were available with dimples for a clutch M/C and/or in Black. Negative on both. Had to wrestle with what was more important to me...the symmetry of a juice clutch setup or the fat low look of the Lowdowns.
Once I get them, I'll be sure to post up pics before I send them out to be stripped and powdercoated gloss black.

Me too! Gonna be a while, though. I'm still not wrenching. Got another 8 weeks of weight restrictions and physical therapy before I can really use my left arm.
I'm concerned about tank interference, but I couldn't find anybody else with a setup like I want so I've just gotta blaze a trail and possibly spend some money on "useless" parts. If they don't work for my bike, I'll still be able to sell them at a small loss.
The thought of spending $400 on a set of drag bars about makes me sick, but I got my quarterly profit sharing today and said, "F'k it." I have been looking for the "right" bars for about 2 years and these are damn close to exactly what I would design myself.
