Default 2007 Super Glide Clutch Problem

Hi, I'm a new member. I joined this forum looking for a solution to a issue that I'm having. I ride and 2007 Super Glide FDX. It's bone stock except for the seat and the saddle bags and has 35,500 miles on it. At about 30,000 miles I had to replace the clutch because I discovered a crack in the basket. Friday while going to work the clutch started acting weird. The lever pull was real light and the lever had to be almost all the way out till it would start to catch. I adjusted the clutch lever at lunch. I set the play at 1/8". By the time I arrived home the lever was out of adjustment. I put it on the lift and pulled the primary. I checked the clutch it looked fine, the primary look ok. The only thing that I found was the locknut on the clutch adjuster screw was loose. I figured that the cable was stretching out so I ran over to the dealer and got one. I replaced it, adjusted the clutch and the cable. Took it for a test ride and the clutch pull seems really light and the handle has to be almost all the way out till it catches. Not as far as before. The cable adjustment stayed were it was set at.
If anyone has an idea please let me know Sorry that this is so long

Thank you

The cable should always be adjusted last when you adjust the clutch. There's also the possibility that the ***** in the actuating ramp are not in place where the cable goes into the trans.

Possibly the clutch spring is shot. Not sure how to test it though.

02FX4DUDE, That's a good idea I replace that and see if it helps.
Thanks
