rear fender

Help required from the U.K.Ihave a year 2000 88 wide glide the one with the long rear fender.Has any one got pictures of how to shorten or relocate same without cutting the kick-up around the rear light. Thank you.

So, you're looking to cut material out of the middle and weld it back together?

I'm not quite clear on what you want do.

You don't want to cut up the fender at all?
You want it closer to the tire (move down)?
You want the duck tail closer to the rider (move forward)?

I read it as he wants your last point. Can't see any way that's going to happen w/o welding... Unless maybe cutting the fwd end of it, but then the strut holes will be exposed, and being so thin not easily filled, again w/o welding.
