I saw this in a Dennis Kirk exhaust ad, looks good. Anyone know the year and model? FX.......? Looks like it has longer rear shocks, look at the clearance the rear tire has.

The rear suspension was fully adjustable and 13.5" eye-to-eye. Front suspension was adjustable too. According to my dealer - this was not a good seller for HD. That's probably why in 06 they put inferior suspension on it, changed the bars and the seat, changed the paint, and called it a Street Bob. Smart marketing by HD - lower your cost a bunch but charge the same amount (I'm guessing here, not sure what the actual msrp was on a FXDX) - and it's a bike that people are lined up to buy.
There are quite a few used ones around but because it's a discontinued model they typically want more for a used one than it would cost for a brand new Superglide or a much newer Bob.IE there are two 05s in our local Photo Ad priced at 15K I couldn't sell my 06 Bob for 12.
