Just in one year I've gone through several seats, and I can't imagine why I didn't do a C&C Seat first. With just a short 50 miler today theres no reason why I don't see this as a long haul saddle. The quality in the leather and the workmanship is amazing. Cant say enough about this seat.
I intend do to a C&C later this year, dropping some cash for shocks here soon. What options did you go with? Also, do you know if the rider backrests are removable?
Glad you like it, I've had mine for a year and should say it gets even better once broken in (but not too indented or anything). I rode for 4 solid hours last week to Vegas on back roads and still felt great. May not be for people who like a ton of soft padding but for someone who wants support its the cat's meow IMO.
Fireguy88, Only option I went for was leather. That's the Squareback but they're sending me a Sport Tour, don't forget to mention HD Forums for your 10% off.
robbyville, I agree, I was expecting it to be a bit firmer but maybe because Im use to my Tripper Solo, that's a firm seat but gets real comfortable as the miles pile up. I have no doubt that the C&C will fill all of my expectations of what I wanted my seat to do. Not to mention look kick-***.

I was going to ask what model that was.
Momma's leather Badlander arrived yesterday, but I don't think she is going to like it. Bless her heart, she has a small ***, but I think the C&C is what we are looking for. I will check out the Sport Tour.

Looks great, sir!
If she does her own riding and won't be carrying a passenger often check out the squareback for her. Same rider seat slightly narrower passenger pillion. If momma is your passenger then the sport tour is the right way to go!
Well please post pictures when you get it! Also, did you get the gel? And, what are the pros vs cons of vinyl vs leather? I'm a couple months away from ordering one of these, what's the turn around time? Thanks again!
Never tried a gel seat, nor felt any need to. Using the right seat foam does wonders.
I prefer the feel of leather to vinyl. Even with the diamond-stitch, brown leather & matching sissybar pad, they were very reasonable. 2 - 3 week or so turnaround & that included them mailing me a packet of leather swatches to choose from.
