Seat base is carpeted & very well done. No cut-corners.
Wife has only spent about 45 minutes on it. Asked her how she liked the new seat & says she never even noticed it, whereas she always complained about the stock seat.

I've had a few seats and this is by far the best.....GF will go an hour no problem. The seat will take time to break so tell her to be patient. I did the leather and I absolutely love it.....I can go all day and it just gets better. But I've said this in the past, I could go miles and miles on strip carbon bicycle seat....so anything with a pad feels like a million bucks.
