Default Which fork springs

Greetings,

Both my wife and I have FLD's (Switchbacks). I've gone the route of Racetech springs and Gold Valve Emulators. Her bike's forks are still stock and she'd like to improve the front end handling for her bike.

I'm looking for info on just spring/oil replacement and recommendations on the springs. I know there is the bazillion page thread on the Traxxion springs and Intimitadors, but I'm just looking for info on springs.

On my bike the Racetech parts provide for noticeably less fork dive, better bump absorbtion and better overall handling. I ride my bike pretty hard. I've never used Traxxion or Progressive fork springs. She rides less aggressively but has noticed that certain bumps/road conditions have her almost losing control of her bike, whereas my setup allows for controlling the bike much better under the same conditions. My first thought is to get Racetech springs for her bike, just looking to see if other options are recommended.

Price wise, the Racetech, Traxxion and Progressive springs all seem closely priced. Of these brands ( or others?), which would you recommend and why?

Thanks!

according to the 2014 dyna service manual, the switchback has the single cartridge forks.

Correct. They are 41mm forks, much like Softails, where one side is a cartridge type and the other side is the standard damper rod.
