Friend of mine installed a thundermax in his 2010 wide glide. When trying to write a map to the module it gives us an error saying that the map is not narrow band compatible. But he has wide band 02 sensors. And then it seems like it just sticks the original base map back in the module. Is there a way to reset the thundermax all together and start from scratch?
Make sure he has the latest software and firmware updates.
There's a tuning manual you can download that has tons of info, including troubleshooting and map installations.
made sure we had all the software updates lastnight. And we do. The computer will not let us get rid of the base map nor load in a map we select. When we do it gives us a error stating map is incompatible with narrow band module. The computer software doesn't seem to have a lot of maps available to pick from either.
