I bought a 2005 dyna wide , 8000 miles on it a month ago...phoenix police called last night at 3 am, found my stolen bike. .it was found on the side road, along the 101 on 47 ave in the ditch...when I arrived and looked at the bike, I was shocked, it was a mess...the engine painted orange, the pipes sisy bar , all the chrome black...the high rise handle bars were take off and replace with different ones...the Harley emblem on the sissy bar ripped off...the spedo ripped from tank...the seat missing....sadly....its probably going to be a total loss to the insurance company...I don,t know why someone would do this bike...its almost like it was intentionally done...pic before and after.
Your wideglide was awesome. It also makes me sick to see what those scum-bags did to your ride. I know when you get something precious stolen from you its like someone took part of your life. I had a 1986 El-Camino stolen from me at my work parking lot years ago. All fixed up nice tires and rims ect. They found it stripped down on the side of the road also. Buy another one with the insurance money and fix it up even better than your old one was.
