got a question. i went to drag bars with 3 inch risers and internal throttle. my throttle cable is 6 inches to short and clutch cable is 4 inches to long. i would like to stick with oem cables so any ideas on what models may work for what i need? do most dealers stock these cables?
i'm goin to talk to them tomm. but i figured i'd get some opinions here.
thanks
If you are going with the internal throttle, which is way cool by the way. I believe that you need to have your throttle cable custom fit.
I may be wrong it has happened once before that I know of.
my understanding was that it needs to be longer if anything, and then you cut the cable housing to the proper length. the cable itself is secured to the throttle assy. by a setscrew.
think a wideglide or street robert throttle cable would be longer than a superglide or defender?
