Modifications such as yours typically lower the resale price. Return it to stock, there are very few of those around. FXDXs and Dynas in general are a dime a dozen with the mods you have. As it is now? You need a young kid and they typically don't have two nickels to rub together. Put it back to stock and sell it to old an SOB (like me) who has premium money.

Now, if you were in California, seems like there's an instant 2k premium minimum on bikes set up like yours or similar. You could make some decent coin bringing bikes from out of state, throw tbars and a thunderheader on, maybe a fairing, and make a profit. Or at least you could if the market wasn't flooded with them...
If it's sentimental at all to you, I'd find a way to hold onto it.

I don't know. If I see a bike that's set up with t-bars, thunderheader & a quarter fairing I figure it is owned by a younger rider that has beat the **** out of it. A stock looking bike has likely had an easier life.

More experienced riders would agree with you. Me included, I would definitely be scrutinizing it closely, because I know how I treat my bike...lol
That being said, I would say a lot of the younger people trying to get in on the "fad" don't know what they are looking at. They see a bike with what they want on it, and they think they're getting a good deal.

I was visiting my friend who is the floor manager at Lane Splitter HD in San Jose & he showed me a few brand new Dynas they set up club style. They even had one on the floor that had a FXRT fairing on it. These bikes are really popular in the Bay Area right now, but not so much here in Fresno county yet.
