I have a 07 wide glide with a rigid mount sissy bar. There is no gap between the strut and the fender. I can always run a spacer between the strut and the fender so the mounting straps will go thru. My question is. Is anybody else running this setup and how do you like it? How any problems mounting it? Thanks!
You must be talking about the solo bags huh?
The fender is actually kind of "sprung" when those bolts are tight. If/when you loosen them, the fender relaxes quit a bit, almost 3/8-1/2" leaving a big space to get things around the strut.
Try it,, loosen those bolts a bit,, you'll see.
They torque to 12-15ft lbs.
