My wife and I have started to ride more together as of the last year. I have a club style dyna right now with Conley Tsport fairing. I got her a sundowner seat and backrest to make it more comfortable along with DK customs bmx pegs. She is comfortable but likes to listen to music on the bike I have Bluetooth in my helmet but not for both us. Yesterday out riding I zip tied my JBL flip 2 behind my fairing and it was OK. Noise started to drown out about 65+ and it died after about 3 hours. Anyone have anything mounted behind their fairing or ideas?
I've been wondering the same thing Coach and haven't gotten anywhere. I found some pictures of a guy who'd mounted speakers to the brackets to the fairing and a head unit to the inside of his saddle bags. But I can't seem to find the thread again. If I find it, i'll post the link.
I bought a 1000watt speaker set from Boss Audio and so far I really like it. With a helmet on or ear plugs in you can hear it better at higher speeds since you're drowning out the wind rush past the ears. http://www.bossaudio.com/marine/mari...audio-mcbk450/
That's the one I got. I unpinned one set of the speakers cause I couldn't get a good mounting place that wouldn't have them up over the top of my quarter fairing. I can get some pictures later today if you'd like a visual.
